The Beta Lightweight Jacket is designed to meet the realities of alpine climbing and mountain environments. Through meticulous design, it achieves complete waterproofing, windproofing, and breathability without sacrificing other features or compact packability. The next-generation Gore-Tex ePE membrane used is a lightweight, thin, and strong PFC-free material. C-KNIT backer technology is used for a stress-free fit and excellent breathability. The helmet-compatible StormHood provides protection without sacrificing visibility. It features zippers for ventilation and RECCO reflectors for enhanced visibility. This product is intentionally PFAS-free. The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner while achieving the same strength and durability as conventional materials. Products using ePE membranes may seem to have a slightly damp surface, but rest assured that this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you feel that the fabric is damper than expected, washing and drying the jacket to remove oil stains will restore the DWR waterproofing function.
