This product is intentionally PFAS-free. The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner while maintaining the same strength and durability as conventional materials. Products using ePE membranes may seem to have a slightly damp surface, but rest assured that this does not affect the waterproofness of the membrane itself. If you find the fabric damper than expected, washing and drying the jacket to remove oil stains will restore the DWR waterproofing function.
