First of all, the waist on these pants is really big. Even when I tried to pull them up over my hips, it was a bit loose. They were extremely long and wide, so I had to use a belt to tighten them properly. The top part was a good length though, so I could wear that comfortably without any issues. The set is really pretty, I love the print! But yeah, definitely need to get the pants altered to fit better.
